Dr. László Lukács dental specialist, co-owner of Helvetic Clinics

Dr. László Lukács dentist, periodontologist, professional instructor, clinic manager, owner of Helvetic Clinics

Dr. László Lukács graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of Semmelweis University in 2006. After graduating, he began his residency at the faculty's Periodontology Clinic, as a result of which he passed the specialist exam in periodontology in 2009. For another 3 years, he worked as a tutor, researcher and patient care provider at the university clinic, and at the same time he opened his private practice together with his brother. The small office has now become one of the largest dental clinics in Budapest, where not only Hungarian but also many foreign patients are treated while ensuring the highest professional standards.

About myself

I have known since I was 7 years old that I wanted to be a dentist. The fact that my brother was always a year ahead of me on the road was also a big help in achieving this. We still work side by side today, we also share a desk. We have always focused on 2 things: professionalism and providing patients with the best possible service. We believe in humble work, diligence, quality and that you don't have to be loud to be heard!
I quickly fell in love with periodontology, because it is not only a profession, but also a perspective. With this approach, we look not only at the periodontium, but also at the entire masticatory organ, restorations, and dental prosthetics. I got to the point where I now only perform periodontal and surgical interventions, and this gives me great satisfaction.

Tooth extraction, tooth removal in Hungary

If a tooth reaches such a state of deterioration that even the most advanced dental procedures cannot rectify it, then the extraction of the tooth may be advisable to prevent future serious complications. Interventions are always performed under local anesthesia, thus ensuring a painless experience.

Treatment of gum disease

Achieving and maintaining an inflammation-free state is paramount in the treatment of periodontal disease. The thorough removal and prevention of plaque, tartar, and thereby bacteria, are the cornerstone of successful treatment, potentially salvaging severely affected teeth for decades to come.

Gum disease, periodontitis

The most important symptom is gum bleeding, which always indicates the presence of inflammation. The cause of its development is the accumulation of plaque, tartar, subgingival tartar, and the millions of bacteria on their surfaces in the mouth. Treatment and prevention are possible, which can even preserve teeth in the affected condition.

Symptoms, development, and treatment of a purulent tooth

The purulent inflammation developing next to a tooth can have several causes. Most often, it is either inflammation and necrosis of the dental pulp or acute inflammation of the tissues adjacent to the tooth, the periodontium, that causes it. Its most characteristic symptoms are swelling, pain, and its treatment and elimination are crucial.

Gum recession: treatment of receding gums, different types

Recession of the gums occurring in the area of the tooth neck is often not due to periodontal inflammation but rather to anatomical variations, thin gum biotype, or improper tooth brushing technique. It may be considered merely a cosmetic concern, but in certain cases, surgical correction may be warranted.

Crown lengthening surgery

Prolonging the clinical crown of certain teeth may be justified due to deep decay, a broken tooth, or aesthetic asymmetry, even at the expense of root length. It's a straightforward minor surgical intervention.
